Umber death struck
While many struggled
to keep illness at bay,
few survived.
And those who did…
left bones.
A virtual reality experience.
Created for Oculus Start game jam 2020, “Chronicle ’20” is a poetic response to the virus.
Users find bone tablets which capture snapshots of thoughts, feelings and memories of life during the pandemic.
Depending on the color of the tablet, users can burn (red), grow (green) or bury (purple) these tablets in surreal landscapes. If they’ve collected enough points, they can enter the story cave (blue), write their own tablet and leave the artifact behind for someone else to discover.
